The College of Sciences, at Southern University and A & M College, will hold its 11th Annual Julia M. Martin College of Science Symposium onApril 16 - 18, 1997, with the Department of Physics serving as its host.
We are inviting you and your company to participate in the Symposium. This participation will be highly beneficial to your company, the industrial/business community, and to the University. There is no registration fee.
The theme of this year's Symposium is"PHYSICS -- Bridge to the 21st Century's Science and Technology".
The seminars are generally 15 - 20 minutes long. The audience will be comprised of physics majors, minors, and/or students majoring in Mathematics, Computer Science, Social and Physical Sciences, and the faculty of the College of Sciences and its guests. Audio-visual aids and PCs are available, if needed.
If you plan to participate, and we hope you will, please send us a short narrative about your company and a brief biographical sketch on the provided form and return them in the self-addressed envelope.
We are especially asking for support from SU Physics Alumni and former faculty members in making our Symposium a success and to celebrate with us the start of our new Master of Science Degree Program.
