The written and spoken language is English.
Prospective authors should submit their abstracts by
electronic mail, preferably in Word Document. Abstracts in a plain text form
are also acceptable. Please limit abstracts to 200 words, and indicate your
sorting code on the upper right corner
according to the codes enclosed in parentheses in the Topics
section. The name of the presenter should be underlined. A mailing address,
e-mail address, phone, and FAX number of the corresponding author should be
included near the bottom of each abstract.
Please email your abstract to the Program Committee
at hanzhang@pku.edu.cn, instead of the
Secretariat of New3SC-4.
Authors are encouraged to post their work before or after the oral presentation in order to discuss it with colleagues. A poster room is available. Please indicate your preference regarding both oral and poster presentations and either of them on the upper left corner. See the sample abstract (in PDF File or Word Document ) for more details.
Contributing authors will be notified about whether their abstract has been accepted between November 15 and December 15, 2002, via e-mail, depending on the date of submission. An invited presenter will of course not receive a notice of this kind. In case that the submission is declined, a full amount will be refunded without service fee charge. Please take the advantage of the advance registration by November 15, 2002.
Whenever possible, all correspondence will be conducted by e-mail.
Each presenter should submit three copies of the
manuscript for onset peer refereeing. Usually, minor or serious revisions are
needed. Therefore, camera-ready figures are not required, but they are still
helpful for the on-site refereeing. Papers up to three (3) pages in length will
be published for free; though longer papers are also acceptable, a fee of
$50/page must be charged. This three page limit applies to everyone: invited as
well as contributed, oral and poster papers.
Manuscripts are required to be prepared strictly according
to the requirements of World Scientific at http://www.worldscinet.com/ijmpb/mkt/guidelines.shtml
Carefully read it. It can help you efficiently use space. A camera-ready manuscript
is required for proceedings papers. Manuscripts could be written in LaTex/Tex/Doc
form with printed PDS/PS files according to the requirements of World Scientific
Publishers.
Three copies including the original manuscript with an e-file of the manuscript on a floppy disk must be mailed to Prof. Fan, Department of Physics, College of Sciences, Chongqing University, Chongqing 400044, China, by March 14, 2003.
Note that the three (3) copies of a manuscript submitted at the conference are for refereeing purposes only; either a revised manuscript or a publish-as-is paper still needs to be re-submitted by the cutoff date of March 14, 2003.
