For your registration, do any one of the following:
· Fill in the online registration form.
· Download a plain-text version of the registration form and print
it out as a template.
If you do not choose to use the online form, please fill out the text
form and either
· E-mail it to the conference at new3sc@phys.subr.edu or
· FAX it to USA+225-771-3926 for people out of the Mainland of
China or (023) 6511-1960 for people on the Mainland
of China

Even if you do not decide to register right now, it would help conference
organizers in estimation if you could fill out the form and check the
box "preliminary registration."

* The conference has provided each of cruise participants with $40 reimbursement
to reduce the package fees.

How to Pay
Credit card (Visa, Master, and Discover), money order, banking or personal
checks cashable in US banks are acceptable. A registration form with credit
card number and expiration date can be provided by email or FAX at potential
participants’ will. The FAX number is USA 225 771 3926.
Check cashable in a US bank must be payable to New3SC
Wiring to Bank One Louisiana, P. O. Box 1231, Baton Rouge, Louisiana,
70821, USA;
Routing Number: 065400137; Account Number: 79005 40978. A US$20 banking
charge is required for wiring and foreign checks. Please add the $20 to
the original payment while you are wiring to New3SC.
Cash in US$ or RMB is acceptable on site while checking in hotel.
Refund Policy
The full amount exclusive of $360 cruise fare will be refunded with $20
deduction of the service charge if the secretariat is notified by April
11, 2004; 75% will be refunded afterwards until the conference beginning,
and only 50% after the conference begins. In case that the abstract submission
to the conference or VISA request to China is declined, a full amount
paid in advance will be refunded without the service charge.
The cruise fare of $360 may be refunded subject to a cancellation fee
from the touring company plus $20 service fee from the conference if we
do not rent a whole boat due to the insufficient number of participants.
If a whole boat is rented, only $60 will be refunded as grace.
Pre-registration
To facilitate the organization of the conference and better estimate the
number of participants, and also for you to promptly receive further information
regarding the conference preparation, please fill out a registration form
and send us by e-mail, post mail or FAX even if you will make a final
decision of whether or not you take part in the conference.
If you have decided to participate in the conference, please send your
registration form with a fee from the chart to receive the early bird's
discount by February 16, 2004. If possible, please e-mail a notice that
your fee is on its way, so you will be assured of receiving your discount
even if international mail or wiring causes delays, but the postmark must
be by the deadline.
For Invited Speakers
Please do not assume that an invited speaker's registration fee is automatically
waived. Please first pay for your full registration package fee. We will
provide our overseas participants with a mild reimbursement to compensate
the high cost in airfare. The amount is subject to the final funds received.
For Students
Student registrations must accompany the student's advisor's name and
institution.
Document for VISA Application
For the majority of participants outside China’s mainland a VISA
to China is needed. A document from the Office of Foreign Affairs, Chongqing
University, will be mailed to you once we receive the necessary information
for this end from you. Please read the announcement of VISA Application
carefully and provide us with complete information to avoid a delay.
Acknowledgment
Registration and fee payment will be acknowledged. However, we may oversee
your case occasionally. If you do not receive a confirmation from us within
a reasonable period of time, please send a message to the secretariat
of New3SC-5 to ask about it. Receipts will be given on the conference
site.
