Monikka M. Mann

Monikka Mann is a junior transfer into the Department of Physics from Stanford University where she was a major in the Program in Science, Technology, and Society, with a concentration in Physics/Material Science. Along with fuel cells, her research interests include finding possible explanations for the limited number of females and minorities in highly technical fields, as well as the gap between the performance levels of the various racial groups. Upon graduation, she plans on returning to Stanford for medical or law school, or possibly attending graduate school somewhere in New England. Outside of school, Monikka is busy instructing her husband, Don, on the art of diaper changing using their newborn daughter, Laura, as a guinea pig.
